Ongoing ProjectsStep on war: world awareness campaign for the vulnerable people in Afghanistan. Promoting Peace and Human Rights through exhibitions, events and publications on war rugs T'Abruzzo: fundraising campain for finanzing a project that aims at improving the socio-economic conditions of the people dramatically affected by the heartquake on April 6, 2009 in L'Aquila area Inside Kabul: audiovisual project about the daily lives of Afghan people and the local associations which hardly find space in the media. The photo-book realized by Danilo Marino was published by GBEditoriA and the documentary film, witness to the reality of Kabul, will be presented at the Drugstore Gallery in Rome on December 14, 2011 Colours of Textiles: in partnership with the Afghan Association OPAWC the project aims to increase the employability of young women artisans in the textile sector through micro-credit schemes and the promotion of their products in foreign markets Più tiri, più unisci: oriental rug repair training courses for refugees in Rome, under evaluation Un rifugio a Roma: documentary film about afghan refugees in Rome, under evaluation
Concluded ProjectsNight of the homeless: for the forth year, member of the Organizing Committee, an event to raise awareness in the UN World Day Against Poverty (October 17th) calling on citizens to spend a night with sleeping bags rough alongside the homeless Stand Up, Take Action!: partner of UN campaign against the poverty, climate change and to reach the Millenium goals.
